BHAI GURDAS GROUP CONDUCTED FIFTH ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET

Bhai Gurdas Group has successfully organized fifth annual Athletic Meet. Dr.  Sandeep Garg, S.S.P, Sangrur was the chief Guest of the function. S. Jatinder Singh Benipal, PPS, Commondot 6^th IRB, Ladda Kothi was the Guest of Honour of the function. The students of BGGI participated in various competitions of this meet including 100meter, 200meter, 400meter, 800meter races, short put, Discuss Throw, Javelin Throw, spoon race, single leg race and relay races. Students of Bhai Gurdas group of Engineering, B.Ed, Management, Polytechnic, Law, Nursing and Degree College participated in this athletic meet. Nimuk Tutu (B.G.I.E.T) and Savita Rani (B.G.P.C) were chosen for best athletes among boys and girls respectively. Team of B.G.I.E.T won overall trophy and team of B.G.I.M.T won Runner up trophy. Team of B.G.I.E was selected for best march past award. At the end of athletic meet ceremony, participants were awarded with medals and prizes.

Chairman of Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions, Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha congratulated the winners for showcasing their talents and skills. He felicitated the winners and motivated young generation to play games. Ms. Baljinder Kaur Jawandha (Secretary, Bhai Gurdas group) and Dr. Suvreet Kaur Jawandha (DEAN, Bhai Gurdas group) also marked their special presence at this auspicious athletic meet.
