BHAI GURDAS ORGANIZES 6th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE (ICAET 2018)

Aiming at today’s technical challenges, research updates and breakthrough innovations, 6^th International Conference on Advancements in Engineering and Technology was organized in the campus of Bhai Gurdas Group for two days. This International Conference is sponsored by CSIR, New Delhi, Indian Society for Technical. Education, Ministry of Home affairs and Ministry of HMRD. All the research papers will be published in UGC approved journals. The inaugural of the conference commenced with the lamp lightening ceremony by Chief Guests Prof. Alok Prakash Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE, New Delhi, Prof. Shailendar Jain, Director SLIET, Longowal and S. Hakam Singh Jawandha Honorable Chairman, BGGI. The eminent personalities present included: Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha, (Executive Member, BGGI), Dr. Suvreet Kaur Jawandha and Directors of various group of Bhai Gurdas institutes. Chief Guest, Prof. Alok Prakash Mittal appreciated Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering for providing international exposure and acquainting the students with the latest advancements in the field of technology. He said that by organizing 6^th International Conference on Advancements in Engineering and Technology BGIET has motivated the young engineers to come ahead with their innovative ideas. In his speech he inspired the young technocrats to take the medium of innovative and productive research to attain the pinnacle of progress and innovation. He praised the efforts of the institution, researchers and students as through the participation in this conference they will have technical growth and help in the up-gradation of the society and nation. He said that innovative approach leads to invention. Prof. Shailendar Jain, said that such international conferences have become an important part as they represent the technical aspects involved in towards technology era. Director, BGIET, Dr. Tanuja Srivastava welcomed the Chief Guest, the Guests of Honor and the delegates from various national and international universities and hoped that the conference will provide a common and rewarding platform to the research scholars, where they can share their innovative ideas on advancements in Engineering and Technology. She further said that more than 300 research papers are received and about 200 delegates comprising eminent scientists, engineers, experts and research scholars participated in this conference. In this conference experts of national and international repute Prof. D.C.Saxena, (SLIET, Longowal), Prof. S. K Mohapatra (Thapar University) Prof. R. K. Bansal (Dean Student Welfare, MRSPTU, Bathinda), Dr. Satish Kansal, (BHSBEC, Lehra Gaga), Prof. Kamaljit Singh Sandhu, (MRSPTU, Bathinda), Prof. Manoj Kumar Sharma, (Thapar University, Patiala), Prof. Savina Bansal (Dean R &D, MRSPTU, Bathinda),  Dr. Arvind Jayant, (SLIET, Longowal), Prof. Jitendar Chabra, (NIT Kurukshetra), graced the occasion with their presence.

In this conference paper were read for new information and knowledge of all. In this conference paper apart from India were received from Thailand, America, Sweden, Nigeria and Malaysia. On the second day valedictory program was organized, in which S. Hakam Singh Jawandha, Chairman, Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions, was present as the Chief Guest. Prof. A. K. Goel (Director, College Development Council, MRSPTU, Barthinda) and Prof. S. K. Dhameja (Dean Academics and International Affairs, NITTTR, Chandigarh) were present as guests of honor. S. Hakam Singh Jawandha, Chairman, Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions and Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha, said that this conference attains importance, as it will helps academicians, researchers and scholars to demonstrate the key issues prevalent in technological advancements happening worldwide.
